Believe it's Washington... and Jefferson's nose. So yeah. Washington was also on both sides of the South Dakota state quarter and... umm... the New Jersey quarter, right?

I don't like State, Territory or Nat. Park Quarters that don't use up the space on the back of them like Wyoming...

Why is it generally true, that US coin designs are...1) hideous...and 2) so poorly executed..?

Canada's coins are exquisitely detailed by comparison.

It wasn't always this way.

The Onion had a hilarious story when the state quarters were being rolled out, something like "South Dakota considering Mt Rushmore for their theme."
