Goes on sale July 30 with a 50,000 mintage.

Any idea of the price?

Any thoughts on if it sells out and goes to a premium in aftermarket?

I think it will be a good flip, but you never know.

There was 115,000 2009 UHR GAE......look how well they did.

This new coin.....well all I can say is that I will be buying the $hit of these.

I can't get into the design for some reason. It reminds me of a norfed round, not that there was anything wrong with that, but it doesn't look like a mint design - maybe its too modern looking. Not sure I can put my finger on it.

My real question is, though it's denomination is 100 dollars, why is its selling price point at 1500.. That tells you right there even the treasury thinks the fed is inflated

The price chart looks like (in round numbers) $400 above spot. This might be the treasury's take on how much the spot gold market price is suppressed :?: :?:

Are they gonna let you buy 5 of these? I'm thinking of the risk on a flip. If I can get 3 relatives to order and we each get 5, that's 30K I would have to lay out. eBay might be the biggest winner on this one.

Most everyone that I have spoken to was not to thrilled about the $400 potential premium. That's money taken away from the flip for sure. It's not quite a deal kill yet....but the true test of the after market potential will be the presale buzz coupled with a definitive price and quantity per household. We want there to be NO LIMIT. In essence having as many of these coins funneled into as few as hands as possible helping to generate greater demand.

That they are allowed to use the same coin in any kind of set that they want to. Generally this never happens except for proof normal circulating coins like the presidential dollars.

Correct. They can only mint 50K of them. If they sell only 25K of them....they can then take the remaining 25K of coins and repackage with other coins to form another product to try to move to clear all 50K.

still only 50K made of this issue......sold by itself....or repackaged with a cheeseburger from the dollar menu. 50K and done.

Judging what the market is doing as well as what the big boy dealers are doing I have changed my mind on this coin. I believe it may still do well 6 months from now but I will not be buying any for a flip.

Just as one example apmex is already running a presale on ebay....after fees you are lucky to make $100.
