I got the latest edition of Numismatic News on December 30th. On the front page is an article about someone finding a 1982-D small date copper cent. Can someone with some technical skills post a link to this article on this thread? Anyway, first one found in 34 years. Found in Minnesota where I live, could have been me! It will be interesting to see what this coin sells for if it goes up for sale. If anyone has a pile of copper 82s, it might be worth your time to see if you have another one.

I own about 20 rolls of 1982 OBW rolls marked "1982 copper" that I've had for a long time and don't really know what to do with. They are BU rolls but many are tails/tails, all weigh out to be copper.

Cool.... I still have all my boxes of 1982's that still need to be sorted by copper and zinc... guess I need to start searching for this one!
