EYE CANDY?

Postby sparechange » Tue Mar 08, 2011 9:56 am

While searching for silver, I have found about 30 Proof(71-S through74-S) in a box of halves. Do they have any value beyond the face I paid for them? They are still mirrored really well, with limited scratches. Back to the bank or roll and keep?

I would keep them. You only have $15.00 tied up in them and they are proofs you don't come across them very often.

Thanks NDFarmer. I haven't searched a whole lot of halves but thought they might be worth keeping. Just surprised to find so many in box.

That is unusual to find that many in one box. Usually you might find one every few boxes. Someone's collection probably got dumped.
