The 2018 coins have arrived! I enjoy seeing where and when each coin has been found first, so I started a new thread for 2018. Post where and when you find them and I will try to put date and finder in this first post. If you don't mind it might be interesting to know what city or at least what part of the country the coin was found in.

Congratulations to agmoose for the first reported 2018 coin! It was posted on 02-08-2018 in the 2017 first to find thread because I was too slow in getting the 2018 thread up.

2018-D Lincoln cents in change today in Tampa FL of all places for D mint cents. I got 4 of them - and asked the teller if they were from a new roll, and they were. They are all badly spotted already.....yuck.

My latest issue of Numismatic New has an article by David Harper about the first 2018 cents showing up. He had two readers report their first finds on Feb 6th. One was a 2018-P find and the other a 2018-D find. Realcent folks almost beat out Numismatic News readers for the 2018 Cent first to find.

Found several 2018-D cents today - interesting that we've got a lot of Ds in central Florida.

I got a 2018-D cent on Friday, but didn't report it then because I wasn't first...from an undisclosed part of the country.

Received Pictured Rocks Quarter - D mint mark in change yesterday.

2018 P, one cent came in a Littleton mailer.

I know it's late, but this was unique for me.

I reiceved several 2018 P pennies in change from Walmart on Monday April 23. This was in Western NY. Lots of shiny dimes too but they're all 2017, must be clearing the 17's.

I found a 2018-D dime today while out and about at an undisclosed part of the country. I found it sitting on an outside wall (about 3 feet high) outside a Safeway store along with another dime and two quarters (other dates- none valuable). They had probably been sitting for more than a few minutes as they were a bit hot to the touch from the sun shining on them. I'm a bit surprised that it would be this late in April before someone reports finding a 2018 dime.

2018-P Apostle Islands. My first 2018 coin and also a first to find! Really odd that the first 2018 coin I find in Minnesota is a P mint mark, the Ps usually take a while to get here. I got 2 of them in change at Menards. I asked at customer service if I could purchase two rolls, no dice. I have purchased rolls of coin at this Menards in the past. I think it may have something to do with the person that you ask, some will sell coin and others dont want to be bothered.

Not a first to find, but I got my first 2018 cent yesterday.

2018-P dime. Got 2 in change on 6-12-18 at a motel in Jeffersonville Ohio.

Minnesota Voyageurs 2018 D, in pocket change in Ogden Utah.

WOW! that was fast. The Voyageurs quarter was just released on June 14th. I live in Minnesota so my wife and I went to International Falls on June 14th for the quarter release. I got 30 rolls and had 10 rolls signed by the mint director. They had a nice little program at the park headquarters put on by the US mint and the park service. I was going to claim it but I am impressed by coppernickel's quick find so I will give the FTF to him. (I wouldn't really call my quarters a circulation find.) If anyone else takes the time to go to a future quarter release I will give them a FTF just for the effort.

I got another the next day, both at the hospital. Didn't realize they were that new. Now that you say that I wonder if someone didn't plant them.

2018-P Pictured Rocks. Made a road trip to North Carolina for my niece's high school graduation and found some new P mint mark coins on the trip.

2018-P Voyageurs NP. My wife got two of them in change at Aldi yesterday.
