Liking these new coin flips

New to me anyway.
Self adhesive, seem to really grab tight. No worrying about staples scratching coins or rusticles leeching into the cardboard, or worse. I also like having more room to write on.
I prefer the Quarter size for cents, nickels, and dimes. And 50 cent flips for quarters. I think they look nicer sort of suspended in air (the slabbed look)
A small box of 100 was $16/shipped on ebay.

Nice! Do they have the 3 holed penny/dime size? I was just fixing to purchase the 3 hole version on ebay when I saw this post. I think I would definitely like this better if they have them. You are welcome to pm me the link if you want.

How have I been collecting and carding coins all these years and not know something like this existed? And WHY didn't I think of it. Makes a lot of sense.

Well I checked out the " NEW " self-adhesive 2 X 2-coin flips. They are nice but way too spendy!! They are THREE times the price of regular 2 X 2's. 1000 regular flips were just under $50.00 and the self-adhesive ones were almost $150.00!! So, I guess I will continue to use the old flips with my flat fold stapler.

Agreed. A bit too expensive for coins valued less than a couple dollars.
But what if you bought some two-sided tape and made your own out of regular flips?
Granted, it would be a slow process, cutting strips to fit and applying them. The stapling does go pretty fast.
I see you can buy double sided tape in dispensers.

I've seen these types of flips before and dealers have told me they're not good for long term storage of valuable coins since over time the adhesive material slowly migrates to or can otherwise stain/damage coin edges.
