I remember when the 2004 Wisconsin extra leaf quarters came out and I saw one while traveling out of state to a coin show. I remember how Dave Bowers was just raving about how exciting this coin was.
Since that time, I can't think of a single error coin that has had excitement like that. I'm sure there are minor errors (hub doubling, etc.) that don't warrant being put into the Redbook.
Does anyone know of any exciting errors that have come out in the past 19 years?
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).
NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
