1976 Quarters

In the last few weeks I have had in my change 3 1976 bicentennial quarters. Before the state quarters came out, I was pulling them from circulation. After the state quarters came out, they became much harder to find, because people were looking at the obverse side.

But now they are appearing again. My guess is folks are emptying their change jars due to the economy. There may also be more 90% silver coins out there now.

Agree that there appears to be more silver out there now. So far I’m having my best year finding silver since 2010.

I am mainly focused on halves if that makes any difference.

Don't worry there will be a coin shortage again, as well as all the other bs we had to deal with when covid hit... not sure how masks and lockdowns will go thus time around.

I have two rolls in my coin collection. Plus I have a few loose ones as well. But if I find any in poor (or even fair) condition, then I spend them.
