Lincoln Error?

Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone can help me here. I found a wheat penny the other day that I am pretty sure has some kind of die crack or something. There are 3 or 4 horizontal ripples across Lincoln's lapels. Is this a die crack? Is it worth anything? Sorry I don't have a picture and I also can't remember what year it is. I want to say maybe the late 30's.

A picture is almost a must to get a fair answer. Alot of laminations have what look like ripples on them. Are the cracks incuse or do they stick out from the surface?

They stick out.

I'll see if I can get a picture on here tonight.

Ok, I've attached a picture that shows it pretty well. See the ripples on his lapels?

Also by the way, how do you post directly onto the page without having to use an attachment?

Not sure what they are but it could be die gouges. If a die gets nicked or scraped little bumps or lines will end up on coins as they are minted.
