I've been penny sorting for almost a year now and every time I run across a Canadian cent I have to stop and examine it thoroughly. And when I run across an old one and go to look it up, I find myself browsing through the other Canadian coins. When I'm putting an addition to my silver stash, I always drag out the Maples for a once over.
Well, this weekend I really got it bad. After a flurry of Ebite activity, I'm waiting on several small packages from the North!!! I grabbed several common $1 and $.50 pieces. I really can't explain it, but I really like the Canadian coins. If nothing else, it is nickle!!!!!
