Excepting some of the more obscure varieties of specific dates, most are affordable. Besides that, they're just fun to collect. Not necessarily a booming market for these, so most dealers will heavily discount their stock (assuming they haven't moved in quite awhile).
Spend a little time learning how to grade these. A couple grades higher may be purchased for a lower grade price if you know the wear points on the obverse and reverse.
