1952 Nickel (missing chrome example)

Postby TheJonasCollegeFund » Thu Jan 12, 2012 7:31 am

Found a 1952 canadian nickel. I need a picture of the 1952 with the chrome missing variety. Been looking but can't find a picture to compare mine. I have seen a price of $$$ in G-4.

Thanks

You could also check
http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-err ... ieties.php
to see error #22 - deficient plating.
It is an example of the 1944, but it is the same missing chrome issue.
The chrome has an almost blue tinge to it, while the version missing the chrome will be very dull.
