Does anyone have any stats on this?

I have a lot of 1964's that I have not checked and I want to know if it makes sense to do so.

Google didn't have any stats on the rarity that I could find.

As it is an error coin there is no mintage known see -- http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?coin=5-cents-1964&years=5-cents-1953-2012

But at $22-$800 it might be worth a look.

I think it is worth the effort to check them. I have found a couple nice ones. While you are at it, flip them over and see if you can find a spitting queen. Not quite as valuable, but still a good find.Image

I never heard of the spitting queen... Is that only on the '64?
The extra water line is pretty rare. I would check them if you allready have them seperated/

Yes, the spitting queen is only '64 - kinda convenient since many are already checking their 64's.
