1967 Canadian Dime

I found a 1967 Canadian dime. It looks silver. Not knowing much about Canadian coin I researched it and found that it was the transition year from 80% to 50%- and there are both percentages mixed in. I didn't find anything definitive besides weighing them (I don't have a scale). Anybody know anything about the 67 dime? It has the mackerel on it

weight is the same for 80% and 50%
if the 67 dimes and quarters are in the proof set cellophane from the mint then they are 80%
if they are not then they trade as 50%.
If you have an xray gun then you can find the true metal content.
There is also some sort of "ring test" but I would believe that to be non definitive as far as any dealer is concerned.

The best you can get is a 65% average if you trade a large group of dines and quarters.

On a side note, I have found only about 10% of the 1967 quarters I have are 50%, the rest is 80%. I Wonder if it is the same ratio for dimes?
