Found a 1968 Canadian Dime while hunting through MWRs of dimes.

From coinflation, see that "The Canadian Mint issued two compositions of the dime and quarter in 1967 and again in 1968. In 1967, there is the standard 80% silver/20% copper variety and the 50% silver/50% copper type. In mid-year 1968, they changed the quarter and dime from 50% silver/50% copper to a 99% nickel composition."

Now how to figure out which type this one is. Either way, It won't be stored with the rest of the silver stack!

Edit: Pretty sure it's half and half. It had that silvery look about it.

Also, I took my 1982 penny sorter which is like this:

Zincoln <-----popsicle stick with pivot------>empty

and tried

Zincoln plus 1999 Canadian dime <-----popsicle stick----> Zincoln plus 68 Canadian dime

and

Zincoln plus 1999 Canadian dime <-----popsicle stick----> Zincoln plus 2009 Canadian dime,

just balancing the dimes and zincolns on the stick without securing them with adhesive.

The 68 dime make the level tilt its way, the 2009 dime stays in the air.

Test it with a magnet?

Doh! Much simpler and definitive. Magnet test confirms, it's half silver. Currently worth .73 USD in silver bullion, with price slightly below $20 an ounce.
