Canadian dime on wrong plancet?

Found a strange Canadian dime. Same diameter as regular dime but about 50% thicker, slightly bulged on face and back, no ribs around the edge and it feels heaver. Dated 1986 with a weak strike in the Bluenoose and clear strike on the face. The coin is weakly magnetic - compared to normal nickels which snap to the magnet this one sticks but not strongly. I know the RCM mints coins for many counties so very possible to get a wrong plancet I suppose.

Ideas? Would you send it somewhere to be verified or what? Any idea of value?
