I've been collecting Canadian tokens for over 35 years.
Does anyone here collect them?

Sort of. I have a 1857 Upper Canada penny token. Because I love big old copper.

I also have one of the Upper Canada tokens. Very neat. I would like to get more over time.

I got a few from the local shop, and they have many MANY more, in a wide price range. If you are looking for something specific, post here or PM me and I will see if they have it.

I just bought my first two on ebay the other day. They are great coins! I'm trying to narrow down the coins I collect (other than silver, of course), and I think Canadian tokens might be something I could get into. I like late 18th and early 19th century British tokens, but the Canadians seem to be a little cheaper on average, which fits my limited budget a little better. Being somewhat new to these, is there any advice any of you have? What should I be looking for/avoiding, etc?
