I agree. I was only refuting the statement made by the person that said that as a result of comparing silver prices over a 2 month span that the dollar's purchasing power had dropped substantially.

Roger that. It is true that (at least for the moment) one needs to be careful how much of your assets you put in silver. If you put everything in silver, then had a significant need for cash right in the middle of a downturn in silver, it would be very unfortunate... :( DIversify, including gold, as well as other options.
