Hey all:
Anybody ever work with covered calls?
I have in the past, but most of my stocks are such small cap companies, they don't have options traded on them.
Most of them anyway.
I hope to be doing some of this in the new year.
Anybody have any experience/insight on this strategy.
THANKS

Covered calls are great.
Just type "covered calls" into Google and start reading, there is a lot to be learned right there.

Covered calls rule! I use them to juice my returns on blue-chip dividend paying stocks. Turns my PG from a 3.5% paying stock into an 8% paying stock. I sell slightly out of the money calls a few months out. But do you research, practice a little and be aware that when you sell a call, your stock can be pulled (called) away from you, just at a price higher than it was when you sold the call. and you would still keep the premium. Check out selling cash secured puts too. Wicked cool way to get paid to get into a stock or make good cash if they expire.
