Bulgarian Assassination Atempt Failed!!!

Postby CLINT-THE-GREAT » Tue Jan 22, 2013 12:20 pm

In a failed assassination attempt on the leader of Bulgaria's ethnic Turkish party, Ahmed Dogan, a man is seen jumping out of the audience and onto the stage where Dogan is speaking. He then points the gun at Dogan's head and the gun reportedly misfires. The attacker is then tackled and beaten by security guards.

Wow! What an old man stomp fest! My favorite is the old man with the cane near the end. Ahmed Dogan is one lucky dude.

It wasn't a serious attempt. Gas pistol with only pepper spray and blanks.

Yeah, that old dude whacked him with an umbrella. :D Half way in there is a guy with a thin briefcase or something and I enjoyed that as well. It's pretty comical to see the differences in how this is handled over there. Cultural differences I guess. Over here the dude would have been instantly cuffed with a knee on the back of his neck and swept backstage in about 5 seconds flat. This looked more like a middle eastern street protest. Just insert an effigy of one of our leaders in there. And some dudes hitting him with a shoe.
