California Prop 30 Oh Great!

Postby Thogey » Wed Jan 23, 2013 5:40 pm

Just another reason for another exodus to Arizona.

Please, If anyone decides to come to Arizona please leave California behind. Please don't try to re-create it here.

We don't fund our schools as much as you do. We have hardly any gun laws. We make every effort to kick illegal immigrants the hell out and we like it that way.

The stuff we sell here is not known to cause cancer, we don't do daylight savings time and please leave a little more the 4 inches between you and my rear bumper.

Nevada and Texas are better than Arizona anyway.
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

It makes you wonder...what if thousands, or tens of thousands high income CA residents decided to split the program. Can't you just see the CA legislature passing a law to allow continued resident taxation for some period of years.

I'd say if enough people left they'd be forced to try it. Hey, it's California

I watch a lot legislative process on the tube here, and it never ceases to amaze how elected representatives in MY State pattern their initiatives on CA law.

Their creed is, "if it can be passed into law in Calif, we should copy it"

I previously lived in California and moved because I wanted to live in the "Southern Bible Belt" (true).

However, it was a nice little bonus when we saw the substantial pay raise we had been given! And Georgia does have some state taxes, just not close to California.
