This should help to keep gas (ethanol) and grocery prices up.

“Record-breaking yields of sugar crops and a global surplus have driven down U.S. sugar prices, and USDA is required to act to stabilize the domestic market,” the USDA said in a statement.

There's no market manipulation. It's a free market.... (sure - just like with PMs)

The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it. George Orwell.

What grinds my gears is having to pay for it on both ends. Higher taxes/deficits to make sure the price of gas and bread (soda, beer, honey nut cheerios, etc.) stay artificially high.

What this country needs is a good, old-fashioned reset.

All laws, all constitutional amendments, all court decisions, all presidential executive orders, etc. enacted since 1860 would be instantly repealed, with a few exceptions. Those exceptions would include slavery remaining illegal, ....... feel free to add your suggested exceptions to the list below:

We would recognize that the phrase in the Constitution .."all men are created equal ..." would include all races and both sexes.

Kinda makes you wonder if a Reset Party could grow fast enough to upset one of the Republicrat parties and win elections.

It would never see the light of day. Too many segments of society slopin' at the trough of public largess who will never tolerate losing their subsidies. Which would be the result of a true reset.
