What was the name?

Postby beauanderos » Sat Aug 08, 2015 6:04 pm

A couple of years ago I read of some kind of Internet buzz prophecy software... something like that? Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Some type of search software that could provide predictions based upon public consciousness? For instance, there's a boatload of stuff
on the internet about something wicked this way comes in September/October. Financial collapse, etc.

So... people subconsciously aware that this is impending... make a list of things to do... empty ATM for some available cash for the next
few weeks... if enough people do this it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of a bank run happening because so much chatter is going on?

I'm at work, so I can't really give this much flesh... but carry on, guys

The dire predictions for this Fall may be based on the Shemitah cycle, which occurs roughly once every 7 years.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.
