so who is selling the usd this morning?

Interesting spikes today. USD falling. PMs up.

Someone was clearly messing with the dollar today. An apparent response to that from ppt on the US market though not sure to what end.

Oooops! This is my fault! I bought some U.S.$ (for a planned purchase, not
speculation) about 2 weeks back so of course it's been tanking since then.
It will rebound as soon as I've actually bought said item and spend those
U.S. dollars...
I got a "better than bank" exchange rate at:
http://www.currencymart.ca/rate.html
No extra fee on CDN$/US$ changes (cash or check), the rate you see is
the rate you get. The service charge on the pre-order page refers to
other currencies.
