I live in Washington and just heard this on local radio. I thought being alone on a remote river and tossing a line in would be the very definition of “social distancing”.

In New England, walking on the street is now illegal.

Our governor is now prohibiting any social gatherings of 5 or more. I have 6 in my family. Apparently the governor graced us with being allowed to be home together, but if we go in public we are in violation of the order. They are saying they want people to report eachother and could face citations. The gov mentioned a harsh reminder or citation when she was giving a speech.
