I am holding out for 45:1 until I switch lanes into a majority of gold.
What do you folks think?

I think it's heading to 50:1 by years end. If GOLD hits $1500 by the end of 2010, SILVER should reach $30. Not including coppers, I'm sitting at around 60% SILVER, 40% GOLD right now. I like to keep my feet in both buckets.

Funny, for the past couple years, I have held silver:gold at 50:1. It seems like the right number currently.
Sold some to silver today and felt bad doing it.
I got the feeling that that sale will be a "remember when" story about how cheap I sold it for, even though I got spot +$1.25.

i think some of you are confused.
i'm not asking how much silver you hold relative to how much gold you own.
i'm referring to the relative prices of sliver and gold. as the GSR declines it means silver is gettign more valuable relative to gold. it takes fewer ounces of silver to buy an ounce of gold.
