I'm not sure why we have to enact a socialist policy. Why don't they just give their money away if thats what they want to do?

Social altruism without government intervention is for the birds I suppose.

I mean I acknowledge his intent behind this, but it does not make sense why he would want to further distance our government from it's functioning purpose.

Buffet's TRUE INTENT is to appear that he cares without actually doing so.

Buffet's "income" is minimal and possibly hardly above 1 million.

His corporation and holdings is where his wealth is, and that has more tax immunities than you can shake a stick at.

It is interesting that the idea to "fix the economy" is to hack anyone that kicked butt for several years.

Maybe the better technique would be to train people on those skills. And to encourage people to kick butt.

Mr. Buffet did not earn his wealth honestly or ethically. No body is that successful with out Government assistance.

Agora Financial did a couple of write ups about him about a month ago pointing out some things that get conveniently overlooked. That man really is sleaze.

Now he is paying back his dues by shilling for the Government, Federal Reserve and the IRS. His father must be rolling in his grave...

You sound greedy. ;) actually youve made it clear here you are not greedy at all...

I basically agree, although I know it isnt that "easy"... Life was never meant to be, nor are these types of social programs sustainable. To that end there is a university in missouri that has work lined up for students, you graduate with NO debts. Such an idea should be expanded imo...

Personally Id love to see a new wave of homesteaders armed with the knowledge of such things weve acquired over the last century or so. Probably sounds weird to say in 2012, but I think its just what we need. Cant find work? Or retain for a job actually on the market? fine do it the way america started...

As for warren, I find it hilarious people put so much stock in it. (lefties I know) As was pointed out his INCOME isnt nearly as high as his wealth and actual earnings. So his whole stance doesnt mean to much. Publicity stunt I guess.
