On the left, the old box of cheezits weighing in at a hefty 14oz average price about $4.49
On the right the "New" cheezits, weighing in at 11.7 oz, price the same.

Not necessarily 3 wheels, but GM is already on the cutting edge of cheapening their trucks. They have decided to go with;

Rack and pinion steering.
Revert back to rear drum brakes.
Revert back to that cheap nylon material auto makers use to use for their seats in the `60's and early `70's .
Cheap, cheap, cheap hollow rattly plastic for the interiors.
No longer get full instrumentation on the base models.
No longer get carpeting on the base models (at least with the GMC).
The owners manual no longer comes in that faux leather booklet anymore. It now comes in a zip lock sandwich bag.

Sadly though, the prices have still increased despite their cost cutting efforts.

I watched this happen to Peter Pan Brand PB.

Smaller size.....same price = less tastey magic per dollar.
