They needed some hot lead in the guts. Poor old guy was too trusting.

Averall this is the biggest issue I find with PMs. Secure storage is not really accessible, is it?

Bank deposit boxes are OK but here in Canada you can not insure the contents.

Your home sucks as an option because of guys like this. What's left!

FDR forever destroyed the trust of "safety deposit boxes". Secure storage at home is doable, but very costly.

Never trust anyone with your stash, always be armed and practice what to do if it ever happens to you. With a lot of luck, you will get by.
