Better yet: Get there early, sit in the front row center, and keep your back to him the whole time, never giving him your attention. Text on your phone and play games while he talks.

I'm getting some great questions. I will let everyone know what my question(s) will be before I go. Chances of me getting a chance to ask a question, will be extremely unlikely, given that there will be 2,000 people there. I'm sure the visit to Indy will make national news.

Take along a Silver Eagle coin an while he's speaking, stand up and wing it at him with all your might. If you get it embedded edgewise in his forhead I'll send you ten shiny ones to replace it.

You should ask him if he still thinks Gold is not money? If it is not, then why are all the central banks buying more of it? Is it still out of tradition?

I'm going to ask "There is a significant negative consequence by unlimited printing and devaluation of the US dollar. Inflation is running around 10% using more complete figures, seniors who have been living off their interest income, have to invest in more risky investments to make anything. Won't we end up like Zimbabwe with unlimited printing of money?"

Decided to ask about his comment that gold is not money. They were taking questions via twitter an cards on people's tables. My card happened to be in top and was put to the bottom of the pile by one of the coordinators after he read it. Bernanke believes he's doing a good job. He said there are 5 things he is supposed to do.
1. Keeping inflation in check below 2%
2. Good economic growth
3. Stable dollar
4. Low unemployment
5. Financial market stability.

I wouldn't grade a C on any of the items. Inflation is not 2% when you add food and energy. It's more like 10%. He gave an example of going to the grocery store and being able to buy things related to inflation, but kept mentioning the 2% number which excludes food that you buy in the grocery store. He also talked about monetizing the debt, but said the fed wasn't they are only doing it short term.

Did you think he was going to play this straight? Of course not. It was gamed all the way. However, good try.
