How do you spell recession?

Almost 100% of wage earners will be feeling a 2% pinch in theire income. :thumbdown: :shock: :? :x :cry: :evil: :twisted:

In the face of a limping economy requiring 85B a month in garbage paper to keep it afloat .....
Anything that takes any cash out of the hands of consumers is BAD.

I spell it either OBAMA or CONGRESS. Or both.

I agree, I think tax hikes are going to have the opposite effect that they are wanting to achieve. I do not know many economists that would tell you raising taxes promotes growth in an economy. It may be a better move long term for the country, but it is going to blunt all the growth in the economy imho.

This is the government fitting the general public with the college bills of the "intelligent" people. They are about to stunt economic growth.
