The army can barely occupy, much less pacify, a few thousand stone-age ass clowns in Iraq and Afghanistan, much less several million more sophisticated men over an area many times larger. Besides, the military is conservative - they aren't going to go around killing their own families and neighbors to protect a small banking elite. I know a few cops and several marines, as well as some other military folks and most of them are more gung-ho about defending liberty from the government than any other group I know.

Also, most of the military's serious hardware is overseas, not deployed here. How many tanks are within a 200 mile radius of your city? Probably none, or, if any, they are old M60 reserve tanks that may or may not have any spare parts available for extended operations. Same goes for attack helicopters, bombers, artillery, etc. The vast majority of it is not even in this country. A revolution would be over by the time the military got most of their assets back here, and by then, the generals would probably join the right-wing side just like Franco did in Spain with his North African troops!

Think it through, man, do you really want blood in the streets of your hometown? Maybe that is cool with you for that to happen to people you don't know. But, what about your wife? Your baby? Your children?

I know you don't like it when I get "personal"... but I don't think you have ever experienced what you are advocating. Until you truly have some blood & guts experiences... you just can't imagine the horror of it. You don't want it. Not ever!

I have had several military types say to me something like: "It's time to lock & load, rock & roll!" As in, revolution. My pat answer is "No, it's time to register and vote! The ballot box is mightier than the ammo box!"

Remember this, that guy who is trying to hype you up on doing illegal stuff, like revolt against the government, is most likely an agent looking for someone to "narc" on.

The political route is the better way to go.

as far as voting goes, I personally think it's too late to do anything about the debt

The ballot box means absolutely nothing so long as a private entity controls the currency. There is NO national sovereignty without control of the issuance of currency.

If you want to wrest back control of the destiny of the nation, starve the banking system. How do we do this, given that our neighbors on either side - across the street, and up and down the block will not join in? I don't know.

That leaves option number two, cover your own a$$. I'm actively working to take this route, aka, get different neighbors. Sheik, I appreciate your position that you can't fight the military, and Ag M, I wouldn't place too much faith in the armed forces to stand up for Truth - Justice and The American Way. Most of them are sheeple just like our neighbors, and they will do as they are told. Those who are adherents to Constitutional principles have largely retired from the military or are being actively pushed out.

I'm doing a little bit each day to isolate myself from the societal shitstorm that is getting closer everyday. The biggest part of that will be putting a LOT of distance between myself and the major urban centers near my current residence. I have a standing invite to take shelter at a large productive farm. My next challenge is to break free from the shackles of my current career. Not much work for computer techs out in the sticks, but luckily I've got other skills to fall back on.

I need to find a water pump windmill........ yeah, that's my next goal.. seeing as I've got the guns and shelter thing covered.

Those are getting harder, and harder to find. Working ones that is. People buy them and haul them away just to erect them in their yards. The last one I saw was from Kansas. The guy paid $2,400 to the farmer so he could haul it home!

Bet you can find them in the upper plains states, like the Dakotas. There are many farms that have been abandoned up there.

I am still looking to that piece of land to buy for TSHTF. I almost had one. 160 acres with TWO natural gas wells on it, four ponds, 90 acres tillable, the rest was timbered hillside perfect for an underground home and/or bunker complex. I could not come up with the cash fast enough. Someone else bought it for $1,750 per acre!

No matter how perfect that land was... it was not good enough to protect me from that sniper who can kill at 600 yards. (you can't hide in a bunker forever) So, what good was it?!

What if the Founders & Framers had the bunker mentality? What if it was their generation that decided to hunker down and let someone else fight oppression? They, too, experienced the collapse of a fiat dollar. More than once! Without them... Today, freedom... liberty... would only be a dream.

Well, freedom and liberty will soon be looked back upon as paradise lost if we don't get our [shucks] together and stand up to those who wish to take it away from us! It is within our power to take back the dream our Founders made into a reality for you and me! But it will not happen if we don't fight for it!

sheikh..... I agree with your premise entirely 100 percent. It is never to late to take our country back. the problem is most people are to indoctrinated into non realities. It isnt likely to happen.

so imo, the real issue comes down to empowerment. the key to this through the issues we face imo will come down to the most basic of needs. Food. The more of us who decide to produce food, and better still enable our neighbors to, when they are hungry enough to do it, that will be what saves liberty imo, if it ends up being saved.

People who have the basics covered, are not at the whims of those who seek to control from above. It is true this aspect is not mandatory if people took back our government NOW. but that window is closing, and most are still oblivious to much of whats forming around us. Producing food specifically is our best hope forward to ever see the dream of liberty and self determination restored......

again I agree with you sheik, but good men need to grow food as well. the [shucks] doesnt have to hit the fan for this to be true. things could get really really tough, and likely will have to before the american apathy wears off, and people truly question how we got there. If people like us, are producing our own food during this time, we will be able to retain wealth, and find opportunities, to build again. we surely dont want the globalists alone, with such power.

if your worried about government taking it, bury air tight seed, it will last for much longer then you might think. (decades) Along with planting things not often thought of as food. i could grow a complete diet that would be overlooked in most any region in the country.
all that aside, you are right, this IS our country. your also right to say fighting the government physically is a false paradigm. Not that the government would win, if the american public was truly radicalized, they would not stand a chance, but the chances of us rebuilding anything even close to the constitution after such a fight, is remote at best.

Thanks Jack. I am right there with you. There are times I want to just focus on me and my little world of work and family.

I think there has been a real impact on our politicians with the TEA Party movement. I do not fully agree with all they say, but I agree with them more than I do with either Republicans or Democrats. If we keep the pressure on the professional politician, let them know their job is on the line, we will prevail!

there is no reason to vote, your vote does not count.

I knew a man that worked as a voting machine technician, he said I don`t know why we vote because the machine is set up to elect the ONE that the conspiracy wants.

who is the Conspiracy, he did not know , but he did tell me who would be elected before each election.

this man is dead now so I can say what he wanted to say and could not.

when he was hired he flew to the Capital, and there was a polition with him that introduced him to a lot of men is "STUFFED SHIRTS" is what I call them.

he was talked to and hired that day, as a favor to helping the polition get elected, he was elected anyway but had to give a big show.

fighting this is a loosing battle, it will not work, and no this has nothing to do with to much TV, it is fact.

I know this because he showed me how the voting machines are set up, or I should say rigged.

I set a machine up myself with instructions from him, then was told what to do to throw 75% to 90% of the vote to the candidate of choice.

GUESS WHAT IT WORKED.

I voted this machine two hundred times.
