What's the point?
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. ~Chief Seattle, 1855

New economy: Get an internet connection (free in many places). Get a lap top (can be rented from some libraries). Work online and earn 100k per year.

Hard work and intellect are still in demand :)

I'm not a fan of the babyboomer locust hoard either but the posters don't make sense to me.
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

Well put. The posters gave no positive method of improving.

I didn't say the posters were meant to encourage kids. J/K.

I thought people would get a chuckle out of them. Sorry. Like the guy who says to kids, "Get off my lawn!" the posters had the same tone. Kind of dire but not exactly vindictive.

This must be some sort of inside joke.

They are using what adults tell kids/teens now days, and expects them to get the same results they did when they where that age. I find them rather truthful.

Someone gets the humor. Thanks. :D

Cracks me up to look at a 'That 70's Show' looking dude in the poster and picture him married with children now telling kids that they need to man up because he did. I don't know, I thought the posters were a pleasant distraction from thinking about this economy.
