http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2013/roll412.xmlThe Ayes voted to strip.the NSA of the funds for domestic spying.
The Nays voted to fund more mass collection of American Citizens' metadata.
How did your rep do? Mine was "too busy" to show up.

Simpson, representing Eastern Idaho, voted to keep funding the police state.
Labrador, representing Western Idaho, voted to strip the funding.
Idaho was a wash.

The 2 marxist feminists representing NH split. 1 Aye and 1 Nay. So a wash here too.

47% - 50% 3% not voting
this was a very strange vote, not split down party lines.
Rep 94 aye 134 nay
Dem111 aye 83 nay

Easy translation:
The votes to strip were fairly upright folks or very very careful about what they do.
The votes to continue were the ones the NSA/CIA had dirt on and didn't want to be "Eliot Spitzer'ed" or are in favor of State Omnipotence/NWO.
At least in my .02

No one knew until the day of... like the hour before.
I know the blaze, specifically Glenn Beck was quite upset that no one let him know in advance. It wouldn't have taken a lot of calls to change the result.

I think Amash wanted to limit the time TPTB would have to "influence" votes, so he kept it under wraps.

I am happy. Dave Loebsack, the complete idiot who represents me, got this one right. I honestly think this is the first time I have ever agreed with one of his votes. Of course, the 2 Iowa Republicans both went "no."
