I'm amazed that Iceland got to use something like it.
Makes you wonder when a majority here will wake up.

It's particularly bizarre given how much attention the US media gave to that hopeless Occupy Wall Street thing.

Americans have little interest in world affairs. Most would rather watch Dancing with the Stars.

It was discussed earlier here. We have a Icelandic Daughter-in-law I followed that story as long as it lasted. So the controversy of making whole the Dutch an English Pensioner whole for loses on their investments due to bubble burst in Iceland was followed in several forums. It was a Non-story at that time also, Iceland is smaller than Cypress.
