Just a thought. Using free listing sites like craigslist and youtube, could you bypass Ebay's venue successfully? Using youtube, you could list your stuff for sale, even taking down videos after stuff is sold. Has anyone used youtube to sell or buy stuff?

I once tried to sell a motorcycle on youtube, with no offers. Not sure how many people actually go there to find for sale items. But I can see how it would work well combined with an ad on CL or ebay.
There's a realtor in Maine who has a number of land videos. He's been at it a while, so it must be worth the effort.
edit: see "Mooers Realty" if interested
