speculation) about 2 weeks back so of course it's been tanking since then.
It will rebound as soon as I've actually bought said item and spend those
U.S. dollars...
I got a "better than bank" exchange rate at:

No extra fee on CDN$/US$ changes (cash or check), the rate you see is
the rate you get. The service charge on the pre-order page refers to
other currencies.
