Supreme Court Shake-up

Scalia is gone. If you thought a left-leaning Supreme Court made some bad rulings in the past... just wait till Obama
replaces him with another liberal.

RIP mr. scalia.

A few issues for me, this should NOT be an appointed position. It is way to important. Also why the heck is there such a divide anyway? They are supposed to interpret law, obviously language is abstract enough we will all see things a bit differently but this goes WAY beyond that. Somehow these judges can read whole ideology into their interpretations. It is a crime as far as Im concerned.

Unfortunately the constitution doesn't define how it is to be interpreted. So those that don't like what it says get around that by redefining the constitution (e.g., "it depends on what the definition of is is"). Thus the battle between those that choose to redefine it and those that believe that shouldn't be done.
