The latter. We’ve already had numerous comebacks of diseases in the last 20 years that we thought we had a handle on or eradicated here in the US. Measles, scarlet fever, the plague, TB, etc, etc. We had eliminated them or thought we had a good control on them in isolated, vulnerable risk groups. I think various strains of rare STDs are on the uptick too.
