Some crazy observations from this week:
1. I got a "value meal" at Taco Bell on Monday. That "value meal" was $10.15, with no State tax (DE). $10 for a value meal at TB??
2. As I mentioned in another post, I got lucky and got gas for $2.99 the other day- but all of the other stations in the area are currently $3.29!! Um, hello? Joe?
3. I will be curious to see what the cost of "natural" gas increases to once the colder weather hits. I have firewood for emergencies, but I already told my wife we better be prepared for expensive heat this Winter..

Raising Cane's lived up to their name and raised the price of their 3-finger combo meal about a dollar to $8.53 while shrinking the size of the chicken fingers. I'm giving them a middle finger combo and not going back.
Btw, stickers like this are showing up nationwide on gas pumps, in shopping aisles:

We dont really eat out to often anymore. My wife did happen to get a 10$ gift cert to subway from one of her students so I went and grabbed a full sized philly cheese steak style sub or whatever they call it. Ended up I owed them like 80 something cents. Im not exactly sure what toppings or extras I picked past extra cheese, but apparently regular cheese wouldnt have been a thin slice that covered the whole sandwich if I hadnt ordered extra. I think maybe I had extra onions also for that price but not positive. I took off the peppers though so my hillbilly brain tells me that evens out. lol.
We do order pizza every so often and one thing I notice very immediately was the prices in store are insanely lower than the delivered price if we buy the right things. I find it weird because I know one of their delivery guys who did it as recently as half a year back and they did make decent money as compared to the other workers including their tips but most of this delivery fee according to a kinda friend never goes to them or even the other workers as best he knew. I totally get companies need to make money to stay in business but this seems like a shady way to run it to me.

The most accurate words to describe Biden are not suitable for young audiences, and those words may not be allowed on this website. But they ARE the most accurate.
