For those that have not seen this....I call your attention to this IMF document.

Please look at the chart on page four and look at the end result i.e. Global Currency currently too refered to as: Bancor (Google that name)

You will also see the discussion of new SDR based system. Surprise, guess who will likely be included, China!

FYI: "The Special Drawing Right (SDR) is a monetary unit of international reserve assets defined and maintained by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The unit does not represent a currency, but represents a potential claim on the currencies of the IMF members for which it may be exchanged."

HMM... this is all very similar to a book i just finished last night " How an Economy Grows and Why it Crashes" a little tale by Peter D. Schiff. It was a great read and very easy to understand for those of us who have a hard time wrapping our heads around a very complicated monitary system. If you havent read it yet I would suggest it. It's a quick read 3-4 hours and it has lots of funny pictures. I really like Peter and how hes not afraid to tell it like it is, even though most people in the media laugh at him. But the research I have done on him recently shows that he is usually right, as scary as that may be.

Great post!!! There has been movement, "behind the scenes" on this for some time. it is something folks should be aware of, because when it happens the dollar will be greatly altered to say the least. most of the rhetoric from our officials seems moot to me in light of this.
