I sincerely hope his son is still young enough that they will have no memory of the day. Almost simultaneously while yet another school shooting was taking place. What a horrific day.

Charlie was a brilliant thinker. And whenever he "debated" the crazy far left college students he was always even keeled and even gracious in the face of the vitriol that they threw at him. I saw him on Bill Mahers interview podcast that he has now and It was great because Bill is one of the old school left who actually listens and holds good conversations (even if I seldom agree with him). But Charlie schooled Bill in a way that wasn't bitter or insulting and stayed cool and collected doing it. The world was better with Charlie in it.

What a loss to the country. I can't even capture my feelings now. Things have the potential to go sideways, so I pray the political violence ends with this. Charlie himself is with his savior. It's his family and the country that are left bearing the loss.
