Proctor and Gamble Sells Pringles for $1.5 Billion
Posted: Tue Apr 05, 2011 9:35 pmMy jaw dropped today when I learned that P&G sold their Pringles snack business to Diamond Foods (the nut people are really nuts) for $1.5 billion.
Perhaps Diamond will start putting the stackable chips in a lead canister to protect them from all the radiation that's filtering into our life. When everything else is contaminated, we'll have our Pringles for survival chow.
There's something really obscene about that amount of money being spent for that product line. Let's all belly up for more chopped, mashed and formed food. God help us all.
