Has anybody ever tried out these bags at Staples?

Holds 50lbs $1.74 per bag and free shipping

EDIT: Thanks to copper catcher for catching my dropped decimal point Originally had 17.4c per bag it's actually $1.74.

Only downside I see is they only come in 100 bag packs.

* 13" x 22" disposable plastic coin tote
* Tamper-evident (for one time use)
* 6.5 mil co-extruded film for handling heavy contents, up to 50 lbs. of coins
* Manufactured to meet Federal Reserve Standards
* Sequentially numbered with tear-off receipt for easy record keeping and tracking

Yes, I have quite a few of them. Those are the ones the banks use to ship out their surplus coin. I get an occasional freebie from the banks when I buy large quantity of CWR. I have even gotten a couple just by asking for one.

They are tough. I have several that are going on 4 years old and I used the snot out of them to carry my dumps. I always overload them, never a problem. I like them better than the canvas bags.

I did not see how buying 100 you got 17.4 per bag?

You might want to look at this....

I don't have a BOA account, but BOA has a repute for bad service so how do you get bags for free?

I have a savings account just for picking up coin orders, nothing more.

I just ask. Last time I picked up 100 bags. Out of the 6 or 7 branches I go to I can normally get as many as I want. This is one of the reasons I stopped buying colth bags for storage. One branch I only use as a dump bank. They are very use to seeing me bring in 4 or 6 bags at a time and that is the only transaction I have ever done there.

I'm going to do a test and see if I can get one branch to order me a few boxes of the bags... lol .. I'll let you know what happens.

At 17.4 cents, I was about to order a bunch of these! Then I saw the edit. :( I have a dump bank that will give me bags if I ask, but only a couple at a time. Except for the one time that a new teller handed me a huge stack of about 50 of them! That made my day. Maybe I need to sign up at BOA. I think I'll try to wear out my welcome at another bank first, I have too many accounts right now. :shock:
