Just think how bad things will be when there's no food on the shelves...

What preps? I don't have any preps! :(

Seriously, get what you need NOW so that when everything truly DOES hit the fan, there will be absolutely no need for you to put yourself in a position where you HAVE to go out and fight the crowds. The sheeple shouldn't know that we have preps, and the better we hide what we have, the better. If you want to go opening boxes in my garage labeled "TAMPONS" to see if I have canned goods inside, be my guest. But if you disguise what you have well enough now, you won't be on the sheeple's radar when they come prowling for food. You'll be on your front porch with your 12-gauge. ;)

Same stupid story every year.

What a bunch of jackasses.

This is why God bankrupted heaven, so Christ the savior of humanity could come to us.

This is what it comes to, what an effin disgrace.

I was at my local WalMart around 11AM on Friday, and the parking lot wasn't crowded at all. I parked right next to the store. Inside there were checkout ladies at the end of each line waiting for the non-existing customers. There were very few shoppers. I don't know what the mall was like, but the folks that go to Walmart didn't show up for the kickoff of the Christmas buying season. It could be a tell that the holiday season will not be so good this year despite the hoopla you see on CNBC and other business channels.

Just... wow. That's insane. What's even worse is the guy who got really stamped, who was leaning over the counter in pain afterwards, still stumbled off to be sure he got his $5 toaster. Ridiculous.

This is why i buy everything online except groceries which I buy at midnight on a Friday when everyone else in England is out in the pub.

BTW - Daily Mail is not a good source of accurate news. It's sensationalist bollocks to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Bump on an old thread. I just saw this link with quite a few videos of mob action from last week's Black Friday:

I went to Kmart at 630 am on Friday, there sales started at 8pm on Thanksgiving. The parking lot looked like there had been a concert people left there lawn chairs, camping chairs, trash and more trash. No wonder people from other parts of the world look at America and hate us  Wait in line all day on Thanksgiving to get an Xbox bundle pack for $199!

Huh, now there's an idea. I wonder why there aren't any food vendors out there? I've seen fund raiser type vendors in WM parking lots, so WM probably does not have a blanket prohibition.

Only problem is as you drink all that hot coco and coffee you are going to need to take a pee  My wife and daughter were in a line at Kohls at midnight and several women were going behind bushes at the Home Depo. These places need to get porta johns, trash cans, lighting, security and have fund raiser food booths for area youth groups! Could be a win win for all!

My first reaction to "got caught shoplifting 2 dvd players, was detained by
employees and security, and was dead by the time the police arrived" was
the police took so long the suspect starved to death waiting. ;)

I think I've gotten a little too used to slow police reponse times...
