I picked up a Ruger 9 at a garage sale yesterday for $250.
it wasn't on display, butwhen I asked,
the guy was glad to find another thing to sell for some big bucks.
I always ask for coins, camping equipment, and firearms
that evening i took my wife to the crab leg buffet at a casino,
and left $250 ahead.
sounds like that 9 was meant to be.

This week's garage sale find,
2 1/2 dozen mason jars $2 for all
canned 12 pints peaches from my tree today
also got a nesco dehydrator ordered from abe's of maine.

now a Marlin 30/30 lever action with a decent marlin scope on it.
$150 !!
also found a ruger mini 14 for $400 but couldn't afford it
Marlin will be great for hunting, but the ruger would have been a better tactical weapon

dang went out twice, too
when you see the deals i get,
you also have to take into consideration all the hours that go into it.
just like penny collecting, you pay for your gains with either time or money
