Nuke sub on fire less than 30 miles from my house!

F-ing great! Been on fire for the last 5 hours and fire trucks are still arriving. Portsmouth NSY. NO DANGER TO THE PUBLIC! Sister In law works at local nuke plant and no rad alarms yet, so maybe officials are not lying on this one- so far. Gonna try to go to sleep now. :roll:

Thanks for posting the link. On the news last night they had very little detail other than to assure everyone that there was no threat to the public whatsoever and it just made me think about how every other nuke accident started with similar statements. This one seems as though they dodged a bullet thankfully. This is probably going to cause a sh--storm in Portsmouth with the locals. The city is a very liberal/whole foods/Starbucks/Ralph Nader sort of place.

authorities changed their definition of what is harmful to you after fukushima. best to get your own detector. there is a network of folks who have done this and report to a wiki:
