i do beleive dental related items will be worth something if TSHTF - as toothaches, infections of the mouth are extremely irritating and folks who are surviving & thriving will surely want to avoid this nuisance.
Lice killer - shave your head. lol.

I think soap is very important, as well as the dental related items.
A few things i would add to the list are: Batteries, flashlights, guns, ammo, first aid kits, medical supplies, and deodorant.

I dont really think a shtf will happen anytime soon unless something out of the blue happens, but inflation is a concern to me.
Baking soda is pretty much toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, cleaner/disinfectant/antifungal
If it came down to irregular bathing for lack of water, baking soda will come in handy.
Baking soda is an underappreciated wonder product. 2 bucks for 4 pounds is an awesome deal. I keep a few boxs on hand
You could just skip buying most the things that baking soda does better.
I've used baking soda for toothpaste and bathing something like 2 years now. Saves lots of money and does a better job than tooth paste.
As soap in does not later but you'll be clean and your skin looks/feels great. I also bath with epsome salt mixed in aswell.
Razors are always needed.
I keep a decent supply of esterC (vitamin C) I like ester c alot more than regular vitamin C b/c when I take the 1000mg ester C my knees feel better in about 15 minutes.
Vitamin c is the only vitamin that has ever shown any noticable benifit for me.
Raw honey is something I've been eating and I'll support it as a super product aswell. I keep about 8 jars on hand. Going to get more (I eat about a 2 35oz jars a month)
So a year out after I've used mine up I be in the market for this kind of stuff.

Baking soda for heartburn/upset stomach relief
Growing up, my family used baking soda for heartburn. It was listed for this use on
Arm&Hammer boxes at least to the early 90's. If I recall correctly 1/8tsp to 8oz of water every 2 hours, equivalent to
Tums. Not as good as
Zantac, BUT.... as diets simplify during SHTF, processed foods consumption decreases, so less need for
Zantac.
BAKING SODA, the everything household chemical.

Baking soda is awesome for cleaning tubs, sinks, etc. And no worry about whether it will damage you shower unit. White vinegar is another great cleaning agent as well as having a multitude of other uses.
Me, I am stockpiling my hand crocheted 100% cotton dishcloths, when I am not out of them, that I make that can also be used as washcloths. In fact, this is the only washcloth I will use any more and with my fibro pain it is much gentler to use on my skin.
I also do a double sided scrubbie that is great for cleaning body parts--so great for facial cleansing as it doesn't sling water around the way a washcloth does--, household uses like in the kitchen, many other uses too. I'm out of these too and trying to get more made.
So, just a few more things to think about having on hand.
