Posted: Wed Aug 17, 2011 3:19 pmI've argued with people who got confused between the magnetic pole and the geographic pole and think the geographic pole is the one that there is proof has shifted. (Aside from the ones who think the planets were zinging around like pachinko balls.)
Right now, the geographic south pole is in the middle of Antartica, and there's just no way it's going to shift in any sort of hurry. The magnetic pole might shift in a "hurry" (less than a century). No way is the earth going to shift the geographic pole.
I have not gone to U-Tube to see the video.
