I've got in electronic format 5,000+ articles from the 1970s to 2000s on every topic from raising chickens, how to plant, setting up a homestead, water, sanitation, electricity, etc.

If you mail me a gig or better flash drive I can download it for you and mail it back free of charge, just send me a PM for my address.

As a FYI there is 800+MB of information...I've got the information broken down by year i.e. 1970s, 1980s etc... After that you open folder and click start.html and you can do a keyword search or go to an index to view all the topics in that folder.

You could spend days reading!

I am interested in this and I would do the flash drive thing, but if barry is going to set it up for download than I will skip the flash drive to save us both on the postage as hassle. Sounds like a great collection though. Thanks!

I mailed a flashdrive with the info to barrytrot and also another person. it is not just file folders with articles but a program and it divided into years 1970s,1980s, 1990s and 2000. Each folder requires you to click on a start.htm link that opens up a search feature as well as an index listing.

Anyway if he can't get it to work loaded when he is finished loading it on the computer he can pass the stick to you if you want.

The offer is still open if anyone wants to get off their butt and send me a flash drive and I'll take my time to copy the gig of information as well as pay the postage cost back to you and put it in a padded envelope for free.

I am amazed while folks would benefit greatly from all this information and it is costing me to give this to you more people are not taking me up on this offer. Go figure?

Will be waiting....can't post online so the only want to access is via sending me a flashdrive... there is 1 gig on information.... it takes a hour to transfer from my computer to the drive!

I'd like a copy as well, but I'm working odd hours so it might take a few days.
